Barley or Cracked Oats Porridge


2 1/2 cups grains
1 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp butter

Put 4 1/2 cup of water, 1 tbsp butter, and salt into a pot and bring to boil. Add grains to the pot when water start boiling and cook until thickened. Leave porridge to sweat for 30-40 minutes. Stir finished porridge, put it into bowls and pour melted butter on top.
