Pour boiling water over medium sized tomatoes (15), peel them, cut each in half, seed them, put into a pot and bring to boil. Add finely diced onions (2).

Just before the end of cooking season the soup with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with finely chopped parsley just before serving.

Soup with Unripe Grapes

Cook unripe grapes in four cups of water, mash them and pass through a sieve. Separate a small quantity of broth and mix it with flour. Bring remaining broth to boil. Add flour slurry to the boiling broth, and continue cooking, stirring from time to time to prevent burning. Add crushed walnuts, finely chopped onions, season with salt, and cook until the flour can not be tasted or smelled. This soup can be served warm or cold.

Soup-shechmandy with sour fruit leather (tklapi — fruit leather made with juice of sour cherry plums tkemali) is cooked following instructions of the soup made from dogwood berries, just instead of dogwood berries use 150 g of sour fruit leather (if it is made from tkemali). If it is made from sweet fruit (blackthorn berries or plums) — take 200 g. of fruit leather.
