Beef Stroganoff


500 g / 1 lb 2 oz meat
1 kg / 2 lb 3 oz potatoes
3/4 cup sour cream
1 tbsp “Yuzhni” sauce
2 onions
1 tbsp flour
3 tbsp butter

Wash meat (sirloin, ribeye, top round roast), remove tendons, slice into small pieces, pound with a meat mallet, then julienne. Peel and wash onions, slice and fry in butter. When onions are fried, add meat, salt and pepper, fry for 5-6 minutes while stirring with a fork. Sprinkle meat with flour, mix and fry for another 2-3 minutes. Then add sour cream, mix and fry yet another 2-3 minutes, add “Yuzhni” sauce and salt.

Serve fried potatoes as garnish. Sprinkle meat and potatoes with finely chopped dill or parsley.
