Boiled Chicken with Cornelian Cherry Gravy


1/2 chicken, 500-600 g / 1 lb 2 oz – 1 lb 5oz
100g / 4 oz fresh cornelian cherry
50g / 2 oz raisins
1 tbsp sugar

Boil prepared and washed chicken, strain broth, cut chicken into serving portions.

Wash raisins and pitted cornelian cherries, put them in a pot and pour over hot strained broth so that it cover the berries, add sugar, cover and cook for 5-10 minutes.

When serving, put chicken in the middle of the bowl and and pour over cornelian cherry gravy.
